Rev. Bob Nightingale has been the Minister of Word and Sacrament at Stoney Creek United Church since November 2007. He came to us with thirty years of experience in ministry, serving in congregations in Saskatchewan, Rosemont, Caledonia and Stouffville. Bob has a real passion for worship that is thoughtful, meaningful, and personal. Although the format of worship is fairly traditional, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Bob’s friendly and welcoming manner, and sense of humour, have helped to make newcomers feel at home in our congregation already. He is committed to serving the needs of the people who ARE Stoney Creek United Church, while trying to prepare and support those who WILL lead the church tomorrow.







Bob recently married Trisha and they have settled in Stoney Creek. He is the father of one son, a new grandfather, a self-described “geek”, and a huge fan of C.S.I. (Las Vegas).
