BOOKS AND BITES:
Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Are you an avid reader? Do you enjoy sinking your teeth into a good mystery or drama novel? Well, have I got a group for you?
Each month we will get together in person (or via email if necessary) to discuss and rate each book and at the May gathering, we will find out which book is the winner of the Stoney Creek United Church book club award. So, if you are interested, please talk to Linda ... phone 662-4963, x. 229, or email at revlinda11@live.ca.

FINDING YOURSELF IN THE BIBLE: A SCRIPTURAL JOURNEY:
Would you be interested in studying the Bible in a more personal way? Would you like to be part of a group but really don’t have the time to go to a meeting during the week? Would you be willing to share in a dialogue over the internet?
This might be an interesting opportunity for you!
Using the weekly lectionary readings of the Sunday service, a group has gathered in cyberspace to share our personal reaction and interpretation with a little help from Rev. Bob. We hope that by using the internet we can connect weekly with each other, share insights and support one another in learning more about the messages of the Bible. We plan to meet occasionally (perhaps after a T.G.I.T dinner) to discuss broader issues, suggested in the readings. If you would like to take part, please contact Rev. Bob, the Church office or Ruth Ferguson.
